Job Training

Our job coaches provide comprehensive training and prepare everyone in Ready2Work to perform their job duties and handle unexpected challenges at work.  We simulate work environments and situations the job seekers might face and work with them on handling challenges, such as:

• Changes in responsibilities
• Working on a schedule
• Working with a boss
• Getting acquainted with their surroundings
• Communicating and forming positive relationships with coworkers

We also focus on helping the job seeker handle tasks and unique situations within a given job.

If a job coach knows that someone will be stocking shelves at a local grocery store, the coach would conduct job simulations, have the candidate practice the proper way to complete each aisle and teach best practices for keeping shelves organized and neat.

Tutoring and Basic Skills Training

If a job seeker needs to sharpen their math, reading or computer knowledge in preparation for a job or test during an application process, the coaches arrange tutoring to ensure that the candidates can adequately solve problems.

Our Job Training services are designed to help job seekers succeed and also to make the process of bringing on a new employee a smooth one for the employer.  Because we handle training and help orient the employees in their new positions, employers get workers who are capable of doing the jobs correctly and focused on making a positive contribution.
