Quality improvement begins with providing the services that best meet the needs of the individual, while experienced and committed management teams oversee each program.  This ensures the most efficient use of resources in the rapidly changing and demanding field of human services.  Equally important, management provides the vision for REM Ohio and a shared commitment to the rights, dignity and responsibility of each individual.

Our strength, our only real “inventory,” is the people on our team. Each staff member of REM Ohio is not only appropriately educated and trained, but is committed to our belief in the potential of each person we serve.

Training & Development

Each staff member takes part in an employee orientation, as well as ongoing training programs and workshops and has access to audio and video resources, educational materials and best-practice references.  We also provide important networking opportunities with other professionals and human service agencies throughout Ohio and the country.
