REM Ohio serves adults and youth with varied and often complex intellectual and developmental needs.  Our programs and supports are built around the unique needs of each individual we serve and designed to promote independence, skill development, personal choice and growth.   At REM Ohio we are committed to delivering the highest quality services in community-based environments – empowering the people we serve to live, work and thrive in their community. 

REM Ohio specializes in providing services to people with multiple needs including:

  • Physical disabilities and mobility challenges
  • Dual Diagnosis (developmental disabilities and mental health challenges)
  • Challenging or offending behavior
  • Prader-Willi Syndrome
  • Autism and similar spectrum disorders
  • Acquired Brain Injury and aging memory disorders
  • Social/job skill development and other habilitation needs

As a partner of The MENTOR Network, a national network of local human service providers, REM Ohio provides those who work with us and those we serve the benefits of a strong national structure coupled with the specialized programs and localized services offered at various locations throughout Ohio.  With access to state-of-the-art resources, a well-defined set of policies and quality assurance programs and a nationwide network of experienced professionals utilizing best practice techniques, we can provide a level of support and cost-effective service options unavailable elsewhere.
